Expensive but good,

"I bought these about a month ago and my husband and I each had one with dinner and they were pretty good, lots of crab, just wasn't sure if they were worth the $. The 3rd time we cooked them for dinner, I put about a tablespoon of butter on top of each halfway through cooking them in the oven and oh my goodness! It was exactly what it needed to take it over the top and justify the price - I wouldn't make them any other way. I'm surprised they don't suggest this in the presentation. I think you'll find if you do this, you will really enjoy these for what they are! I think the price is steep, but if you keep them in the freezer and space them out its a pretty good value - I think for what you get (size, presentation), I wouldn't plan on having these for guests, unless you are offering them with something else - like steaks..."

"The broiled crab cakes were mushed when delivered and very poorly presented. Upon salvaging what I could I cooked them according to the directions. They had no taste whatsoever, there was plenty of crabmeat but very dissappointing. On the other hand the flash fried crabcakes were delicious. I really can't understand why such a big difference."
