I agree with the Majority,

"I really wanted this to work, because I have many Invicta sets with multiple straps so I thought this would be awesome. I couldn't get the straps to stay secure no matter which way I tried. Disappointed it didn't work and unfortunately had to return it."

Superb Idea, Poor Execution,
May 28, 2009
By Horology

"A watch strap box is obviously an excellent accessory for the afficionado who has [almost] everything. So when Jim Skelton unreservedly promoted this product, I considered for perhaps thirty seconds and placed my order.
Sadly, I'm very disappointed for the same reasons as other reviewers. Standard 22 mm straps simply DO NOT FIT between the fixed molded dividers. The dividers provide almost exactly 22 mm between them. But straps have buckles, and some have built-in quick-release spring bars. The buckle edges and spring bar pins increase the required width to more like 24-25 mm for a 22 mm strap.
Another issue is the clumsy attachment prong in each slot. It's far too difficult to slip the prong between the strap and its retention loop - you're doing this by feel alone because the prong is under the strap as you're fiddling with it. The prongs aren't that robust, so you fear bending or even breaking them.
This box probably works nicely for straps 20 mm and under. For anything larger, you'll be frustrated by the tinkering and ultimately suboptimal fit.
A much better implementation would be to dispense with the molded dividers, reduce the capacity to 20 straps (10 each side) and use simple fabric pockets to retain each. This would provide a much more flexible and usable solution.
With more thought (and real world testing) this product could have been a home run. Mine goes back to the dugout tomorrow."

Needs Wider Slots for 24MM Straps,
May 27, 2009
By JCFHS38
from San Diego, CA
|
"Let me start by saying that this is a tremendous idea, as so many of us watch afficianados have more straps than we do space to store them. The case itself is very attractive and well made. The zipper is rugged and works smoothly, and the other materials are top-of-the-line in all respects. When opened, the case lays flat, creating a very nice display for easy band selection. The only problem is that the vast majority of my straps are 24MM, and the slots are suited for 22MM and smaller bands. The vast majority of my 24MM pieces--especially those that came as part of my multi-strap lupah sets--have to be stored at an angle, thus stretching the movable keeper a bit out of shape. This also creates something of a crowded condition wherein the straps rub against each other, something this case was ostensibly designed to prevent. This makes me a bit leery of storing some of my more expensive exotics, particularly my brightly colored stingray straps, in this case. Overall, if you have 20MM or even 22MM bands to store, this case is absolutely ideal. Anything 23MM and above, though, is going to require something with wider slots. (Please consider making something like this, Lior!)"

go back to the drawing board,
May 27, 2009
By godawgs

"I agree with the writer from "Philly", the spaces are too narrow. I have purchased over 100 watches from Shop NBC and the majority of my purchases are 22mm and 24 mm, with a few 20mm straps. Also, I think the interior of the box and the strap hooks won,t stand "the test of time", too flimsy. This watch strap box would work fine for women's watch straps, but I'm sending mine back. These facts (mm size)should be made clear in future presentations. Let,s go back to the drawing board on this one."

Straps Galore,
May 23, 2009
By Virgochild54

"As the title suggest, I have many watch straps.... so ordering these watch strap boxes seemed like a great solution ,so I ordered 3......Boxes arrived, so I went to work gathering straps and putting them in the boxes, all was fine.....until I got to the 24mm straps, the slots aren't wide enough to accommodate anything larger than 20mm. Well I did fill 2 of the boxes w/20,18,&16mm straps.Maybe in the future someone will mention this very important detail.......otherwise they work out just fine."

Functional Beautiful Necessity,
May 5, 2009
By Casey

"I have several watches and many watch bands. In order to keep them all visible at once I needed something that would give me that option and look beautiful doing it. I ordered two of these and they work great. To answer one reviewer’s question: in order to use. Keep the bands as they come leaving the buckle on the top. Slide the band through the loop that accepts and holds the band in place over the tongue in the watch strap box. You may have to work with it a little, but it holds it securely and you can re-arrange the straps by size, color, style and quickly at a glance make the decision you need. I have two of these and find them essential. If you like to change your look, this is absolutely necessary and beautiful enough to hold you’re most elegant and expensive watch bands as well as everyday watch bands. Don't hesitate, you will thrilled to have this once you get it home and start using it."

I Know I Put those Instructions Somewhere...????,
March 15, 2009
By PGFofHI

"As a rather dedicated and avid watch collector, with about 107 or so fine timepieces, all from ShopNBC (save just 2), I have several collector watch boxes, and quite a few extra straps, bands and bracelets (as we all know who regularly shop here, many nicer watches "come with" extra bands). So, what is better then this SWI "slot " box for bands. I like it, although a SWI Logo or some type of brand indentifier would have been very nice. BUT, no instructions?????? I simply can't figure out how to "install" the bands into the case. How does it work? If this box sold out, and so says the webpage, then I trust someone can post in his/her review just how to do it. A nice product, but not enough instruction to make it a top shelf rating."
