"This is exactly like the HB percolater my mom had. Simple, basic, just makes coffee. The coffee is hotter, more flavorful, and stays hot until I unplug it. I'm loving this shiny, sleek addition to my kitchen. Tossed the old drip coffee maker. This one's a keeper for sure."

"I was very curious when ordering this if it would be like the one my parents used in the 1960s.....
all stainless steel ect. Yes it is exactly the same
but I wish the cord wasn't so stiff and slightly
longer. With time it should soften. Safety must be
the reason for the cord length which is o.k."
