Michael Aram by Waterford® Crystal Garland Toasting Flute Pair

Classic elegance dressed with fanciful flair. Suitable for serving your favorite beverage, the rim of each flute features simple cuts creating leaf and stem shapes. Consider gifting to a newlywed couple, as an elegant option for toasting their first anniversary. Imported.

Additional Information:
Each glass measures 3"W x 8.75"H. Made of crystal.

Care Instructions:
Fine crystal should be hand washed separately in warm soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried with a lint-free cloth. We do not recommend using a dishwasher to clean your crystal as it can dull and damage the surface. Avoid pouring iced liquids or very hot water into crystal as extreme temperatures can crack or break your crystal. The finely made rims are the most fragile part of your crystal. Do not turn upside down while drying or storing.

About the Garland Pattern:
Drawing inspiration from the Second Empire and neo-classical period, the Garland pattern evokes imagery of an overgrown, natural vine crawling up an ancient column. By replicating the irregularity that exists in nature, the Garland pattern has an organic element. For centuries, the garland has been used as the emblem and icon of victory, union and triumph. The randomness and looseness of the Garland vine captures the spontaneity of Michael Aram.

About the Michael Aram by Waterford Collection:
After studying fine art and living as an artist in New York, in the late 1980s Michael Aram took what would later be a life-alerting trip to India. It was there that he discovered rich metalworking traditions. Inspired to work with craftsmen whose skills he felt were greatly untapped, Aram turned his creative energies towards craft-based design, setting up a home and workshop in New Delhi. Aram is Hindi for "gently, with piece, with love, and care." Aram lives up to his name and succeeds in fusing his modern vision with time honored traditions. Aram turns his creative energies and age-old traditions to Waterford with his pieces for the home.
