About Steinbach:
Renowned for their hand-carved nutcrackers, the Steinbach family started making nutcrackers in the 1800s. Located in the northern region of Germany, seven generations of family have been involved in the development and design of Steinbach nutcrackers.

Some Steinbach nutcrackers require over 100 procedures to complete the design. Often created from fir wood, the chosen wood has to dry for several years before it is cut into the size needed for the production process or the part of the body it is used for. After the pieces are trimmed, the automatic lathe shapes the different parts of the body. The next steps are painting the different body parts and then assembling them into a nutcracker. Designed to be enjoyed for generations, start your own family tradition with the purchase of a Steinbach nutcracker.
