King-Werk Limited Edition "Clydesdales" Handcrafted Stoneware Stein
An impressive stein befitting your favorite ale. Handcrafted in the tradition of classic German "steinkrugs," the rustica brown piece is covered with sculptured artwork showcasing the delivery of Hofbrau beer. Made in Germany.
On the stein, four majestic Clydesdales are pulling a wagon full of beer. To suit the motif, the handle is created in the shape of a horseshoe. The stein is finished with a pointed solid pewter lid featuring sculptured Clydesdales, a wagon of beer, hops, malt, and alpine edelweiss.
Hand painted and fired repeatedly for long-lasting quality, the limited edition stein is individually numbered by the painter - only 10,000 of this stein were created. Each stein is signed on the base by the modeler and painter.

About King-Werk:
Founded in 1949, King-Werk is a family-owned business that practices the centuries old craft of stein making. Located in Germany's Western Forest, many King-Werk steins are based on antique designs. In the early 1500s, Germany established laws requiring that all food and beverage containers be covered to protect their contents, in reaction to several fly invasions and the bubonic plague. In response, easy-open "steinkrugs" were created with the lid, hinge and thumb lift combined. Created by skilled craftsman, you can carry on a European tradition with your own artful King-Werk stein.
