Jorge Perez Wedgwood
Wedgwood, England's finest China company, has been synonymous with beauty, craftsmanship and innovation for almost 250 years. Wedgwood designs are widely acknowledged as timeless, classic and elegantly understated - quintessentially English by any measure. The company was founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood, who has since become known as the "father of English potters." Wedgwood created the ornamental wares black basalt and Jasper, for which the company is still renowned. Later, Queen's ware, the company's celebrated cream-colored ceramic body, was developed and perfected.

Today, Wedgwood continues to manufacture quality ceramics that combine sophisticated classical contemporary design with highly skilled craftsmanship and strict standards of quality. This storied company is known throughout the world for the quality of its products and its rich heritage.
