SubaQuartqua Noma III Swiss,
November 7, 2009
By Divewatchcollector

"This is the most striking watch I've ever purchased., Fit and finish are impressive. It is huge but once you adapt to the size you will love it. If you want a beautiful unusually large and heavy dive watch this is the one for you. The face is equally impressive in the light or in total darkness It would would great on a large guy or a small guy with muscular forearms. Very accurate. Great job invicta! 5 of 5."

Love this watch!,
October 13, 2009
By Jabalways

"I collect watches. All kinds. But I'm always drawn back to Invictas. Your watches offer(to me) the best quality, and what I call manly elegance. This particular watch is the most beautiful watch I have to date. I got this watch for my own taste and pleasure, only it can't help but stand out in public. From the gold finish to the heaviness, this is a pure crowd pleaser. I love the screw down crowns for the chronograph to keep from accidently starting it. I also appreciate the value you sell the watches for. Keep doing what you guys are doing. Because I feel Invicta puts out the best product in the watch industry."

Big, Bold and Beautiful,
October 7, 2009
By bluewail2

"I was dreaming of this watch with the 7740 but it was way out of my league. When the Swiss quartz came on sale I had to make the leap. I chose the gold tone with the blue dial. I actually prefer this model to the dial with the cutaway holes in it. When it arrived I was blown away. I own many Invicta watches but this is my first SAN III. It is just gorgeous. It is big, bold and in your face !!! It is also by far the heaviest watch I've ever seen. The dial is a work of art and the luminosity is unbelievable !I It is comfortable on the wrist and a real eye catcher. I love to watch people as they try to sneak a better look at it without asking. It gets plenty of attention from men and women alike. Eyal and Invicta have hit a grand slam home run with this watch and I am so glad I pulled the trigger. You will not be disappointed with this watch as it is truly unique and a work of time keeping art. Jay"

Buy this watch,
August 17, 2009
By marv

"A 10 plus. I waited and put off buying this watch. It looked too big and heavy. I purchased the mid size version (45mm) and really liked it, but still I did not take the step forward. Finally, I gave in and did it. Now, I wonder why I waited. This is one of the finest watches I owned. Great fit and finish. It may be big and heavy, but it doesn't wear like that. Very confortable and easy wear. Take it to a professional jeweler to be sized if for no other reason to watch them give the watch a once over. They and the other customers in the watch shop were amazed. A great conversation piece. Not the reason to buy, buy it because is is truely a master piece."

"I have been looking at this watch for 2 years before I decided to purchases it several weeks ago. I love it. I love big watches. THIS IS A BIG WATCH. I love the quality, the weight, and honestly, it is an eye magnet. Out last weekend and someone with a what easily is a $10,000 watch asked me about mine. Whats nice is that this looks great with a Suit or causal wear. Love this watch, love Invicta."

"Magnificent Watch!",
April 21, 2009
By Kanakanui777
from Kaua'i, HI
|
"Just received this watch 20APR09 couldn't wait to open the box; and what a surprise! It was utterly stunning! The blue/goldtone really made it look so rich. I gave it a "4-Star" mainly because of two small but noticible scratches on the side of the casing at the 9 marker, (I'm still keeping it though.) Other than that it would have a perfect "5". If you are are starting an Invicta collection; this is definietly one of the must have on your list!"

Just As I Had Hoped.,
April 21, 2009
By spartakus13
from Pittsburgh, PA

"When the watch arrived, it was just as I had hoped. I purchased the gold/gold at $439. The watch is classy, dressy, and formal. As previously mentioned numerous times, the SAN3 is a large and heavy watch. I appreciate the fact that it is Swiss Made. I anticipate over time that this watch will reflect the reputation and reliability of that phrase. I too had to calibrate the watch. No big inconvenience since one should know and understand how to operate one's watch. It's simply a pleasure just viewing the watch. I now understand the SAN3 mystique."

Big Gold,
February 18, 2009
By jazzman
from Texas
|
"If Gold is your thing, this watch is for you. I own mostly silver tone/stainless steel Invicta's, and (others) and wanted to try an all gold. With this one, that's exactly what I got, however, I just can't make it work for me. It delivers a mostly dressy look and my current lifestyle is more casual. For those who require the dressy and/or more formal look. . .Get this watch now! Unfortunately & with disappointment, I had to return it. I like the more sporty SAN III two tone gold/silver w/black face. A drop in price point and it's mine. For gold lovers. . .don't miss out. . get the all gold now. jazzman"

Impressive Design and Value,

"I bought the blue dial version and it is has a fantastic look. Functionally, I did have to calibrate as others have indicated, but once done, this watch is incredibly accurate. I'm new to Invicta watches within the last year. I should have jumped into Invicta long ago based on the quality and dollar value of this company. I'm hooked!"

wreck causer,
February 6, 2009
By boom
from Austin, Texas
|
"This watch can cause a wreck if you wear it while driving. The reason, you can't take your eyes off of it. In all seriousness, this is my 3rd SA3. When I bought my 1st, I was hesitant thinking it would be too big for my 7 inch wrist. That was the farthest from the truth. The watch wears great and isn't too big. As for this specific watch, it is simply gorgeous. The dial is stunning and the fit and finish is impeccable. This watch wears not nearly and heavy as one would think, even though it does weigh 320 grams. If you want a heavy and eye catching dive watch that is well made and reasonably priced, then buy it."

Stunning!,
January 22, 2009
By King
from New Jersey
|
"I bought this SANIII in the all goldtone version. This watch is hefty and simply stunning. If you already own a SANIII, than you know what to expect as far as the weight and quality. This all goldtone version kicks it up a notch and gives such a rich, rare look to it. I too had to recalibrate the chronograph and did get the customary "do not remove" tag. Neither made me cry about it or deduct from the rating for it. I highly recommend this watch and believe that it would be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates oversize watches."

"IVE BEEN WANTING THE WATCH SINCE IT CAME OUT, BUT MY PRICE POINT LIMIT IS $250.00. THEY HAD AN OFFER ON THIS ONE IN ALL GOLD WITH BLUE FOR 399.00!!!!!! , I HAD TO PULL THE TRIGGER! I HAVE A COLLECTION OF ABOUT 20 WATCHES NOW, MOSTLY INVICTA, IM VERY SELECTIVE ON MY CHOICES, BECAUSE I ACTUALLY MAKE MONEY ON THESE WATCHES!!! NOT ALOT, BUT ENUF TO KEEP MY HABIT GOING. THE KEY IS TO BUY CLOSE OUTS THAT YOU LIKE, SIT ON THEM FOR 2-3 YEARS, THEN GO TO SOME OF THE WATCH FORUM SITES. THERE IS ALWAYS SOME COLLECTOR THAT MISSED A WATCH, AND PAY GOOD MONEY TO COMPLETE OR ADD TO THEIR COLLECTIONS. SO MUCH FOR THAT LESSON, BACK TO THIS MONSTER OF A WATCH. I ALMOST SENT IT BACK DUE TO THE GIANT SIZE, IVE GOTTEN USED TO 45-47 MM CASES BUT THIS ON WAS BIG AND THICK! KEPT LOOKING AND TRYING IT ON, AND JUST COULD NOT PASS UP THIS GREAT DEAL!!!! THE WORKMAN SHIP, MOVEMENT,DETAIL OF DESIGN AND HEFT, JUST TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USE TO BECAUSE IT IS SO UNIQUE. THIS IS A MUST HAVE TIMEPIECE FROM INVICTA!!!!! OH, AND ALL SWISS MADE! AND THE LUMENESCENCE IS THE BEST SO FAR.............ILL KEEP LOOKING FOR THOSE GREAT DEALS!!! GOOD LUCK SHOPPING, AND THX SHOPNBC!!!!! ABSOLUTELY THE LOWEST PRICES ANYWHERE ON THE WEB. (P.S. I NOW WEAR IT EVERDAY, PEOPLE ARE KNOCKED OUT)"

What A Watch,
January 16, 2009
By Firecop5002
from wichita kansas
|
"I'll start by saying why I gave this a 4 instead of a five.
When I received the watch it had one of those do not remove or you can't send it back tags. That simply infuriates me. It has been stated by many why so no need to go into it again.
2nd when I received the watch the chronograph did not set to zero. I had to re-calibrate the chrono hand and then the minute subdial myself. That shouldn't happen on a watch that has an "inspected by slip in the box." Ever!!!! You can't tell me someone can't see that the large second hand is 5 seconds to the left of 12. Its a bit tricky on the sub's to re-calibrate the chrono but not a deal breaker. I have heard them say this can happen in shipping so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. As tightly packed as the watches are I really doubt it was knocked out of plum 5 seconds. Oh well.
On to the good. This is simply a wonderful watch. I had previously bought a mid-size sub because I just wasn't sure about a watch this big and heavy. I have been wearing it for about an hour or so and I am still not sure but its growing on me. I think I like it now and will likely love it when I get used to it. This watch weighs in at 12.5 oz's or 354.369 grams before sizing. It is a hefty piece.
The watch came flawless other then the above mentioned problem. It is a thing of real beauty. The sub-dials are easy to read even for a blind guy like me. The blue dial against the gold is simply stunning. Once calibrated the watch operates flawlessly and keeps perfect time.
If you like a big heavy watch you will love this piece. Well worth what I paid for it. I am glad I tuned in when it was the one time only price.
I also bought the our top value sub with the rubber integrated strap. I am really getting excited about that now that I have seen and worn this one.
This watch is a hit unless of course you wear nothing but long-sleeved shirts all the time. You won't like this much if you do. It sits up and begs to be out in the open and noticed.
Not much more to say. I am extremely happy with the purchase and if not for the above mentioned grievances it would have been a five star watch for sure.
If you are sitting on the fence....go ahead pull the trigger if any are left."

SWEET SUIT FOR NOMA III,
December 26, 2008
By Chad
from Palm Coast, FL and Sedona, AZ
|
""The NOMA III is probably the most successful line of watches from Invicta; and rightfully so. The watch is designed so well, it looks great in practically any color bracelet, and the dial looks fantastic in any color or texture.
I own seven of these watches, all in different colors, three are quartz and four have the great Swiss ETA 7751 automatic. I love them all, though I am partial to the automatic mechanism. It is so precise, it's a pleasure to wear. Of course, the quartz keeps almost perfect time, and you don't have to worry about cleanings and maintenance. This line of watches has one of my favorite bracelets. It has big, bold and solid links, and I simply love the design with the texture on the center links.
No matter which NOMA III you have, the watch is a real workhorse, and it is built like a tank. Seeing one for the first time will leave you spellbound. Once you place it on your wrist, you'll know just how tough this watch really is. This is not a watch for anyone who has a small ego. You have to be able to carry a 50 mm watch like a man. And if you happen to have a small wrist, my recommendation would be to try the new mid-size or find another watch you enjoy.
Attention to detail is everywhere. I still don't understand why this watch is not part of the reserve collection. However, the way they crank these watches out, there is no question this watch is not handmade; a requirement for those time pieces striving to be part of the "ReserveCollection".
This is a watch you will enjoy for a life time, and you leave it to your heirs. Its overall design is flawless, and simply one of the best looking watches at any cost. Sometimes if I really enjoy a watch, I might buy a second in another color. In the case of this battleship of a watch, I have purchased seven. It may sound crazy, but I can tell you every watch has a completely different appeal personality and look to it; and none of my friends have even noticed I own seven. They'll ask me about the great looking watch on my wrist, never knowing I wore the same watch, different color, when we got together the week before.
This is not a watch for the shy at heart. You will have so many people complimenting you on your watch, and scores of others just stare at your wrist. I think you can understand the passion I have for these watches. In all honesty, I can't wait to see the new version in 2009. I have seen so many of my "Limited Editions" made over with new dials, any exclusivity was lost a long time ago. With this watch it's okay; because a minute change makes it appear like a totally different watch.
If you love this watch, buy it! However, do NOT think you have a Limited Edition; because when it comes to the NOMA III's, there are no limited editions. That is why Invicta refuses to number the watches on the case back, or provide us with a certificate that indicates the number on the watch, along with how many were made. Personally, I don't care, because I get such a kick out of wearing these magnificent Goliaths, the word limited won't increase the value of these watches. Just by owning one you have stepped into a realm of of a limited number of people that can carry this watch on their wrist.
If you love it, do not hesitate for a moment. You will be receiving one of the toughest, finest made watches in the world of watches. If you are looking for a watch that has a limited number that ensures exclusivity, look elsewhere. Whatever your decision, enjoy it, and wear it with pride and the best of health!""
