Moshi Interactive Voice Activated Alarm Clock The Moshi IVR Alarm Clock is the first 'listening clock' that allows you set the time and alarm by your voice alone. It can recognize every user's voice right out of the box without any pre-programming or installation. Multiple commands provide the current time and date, the temperature, and a full help menu. The clock's grey illuminated face changes color as commands are exchanged.

"Worked right out of the box perfect. The ac cord is a bit of a loose fit, so batteries are a must, but other than that it is a great item. I enjoy rolling over and asking the time, temp.and date. The night light is a great feature. I also like the sleep sounds to help go to sleep. Overall, I would of gave it 5 stars but the power cord is a weakness. Really a neat clock and fun to have."

Repeat Repeat Repeat!,

"When I received this alarm clock, I thought it as ingenius. A talking alarm clock which does what you command. But the problem started right out of the box. When I plugged in the clock it started up right away. The instructions were simple, just tell it what time it is and it will display it. Well, it was 5:30 pm in the afternoon, and I said, "Hello Moshi"! It replied back asking what would l like it to do. I said, " set time"! It asked what time would you like it set? I said, " 5:30 pm". It displayed 4:30 pm. I thought I said it wrong at first, but then I said it again, " 5:30 pm"! Again, it displayed 4:30 pm. I tried other times, 6:30, 7:30 and so on. They all worked, but for some reason, it could not display 5:30 pm. I don't know if it could not recognize the five. I had someone else try, and the same thing happened, it displayed 4:30 pm. Finally, after an hour sitting on the bed, trying to get this thing set, I had to set it by hand. I do not recommend this clock as it will not read your commands like it should. Unless you want to be frustrated by continuously repeating the time to set the clock or alarm, you will be dissatisfied with this item. I thought it would be cool to have a clock that talks and listens to your command, but its faster just to set my cell phone and be done with it."

"The idea behind this clock is great... how many times do you have to go thru nearly 24 hours to reset your clock, for whatever reason. However, I really want to return this item for a refund. The biggest problem is that the electrical plug easily comes out of the back of the clock. If you don't have batteries in, this means constantly saying, "Hello Moshi", to reset the clock. Every time the clock is slightly moved, the electrical cord falls out. It is actually frustrating to set because it doesn't always understand me, even though I am speaking loud and very clear. Also, a small noise was made in our bedroom and "Moshi" randomly responded, saying it couldn't understand me and woke up my sleeping baby. Save your money. Buy a normal clock!"

"I bought two, one for me and one for a gift. Am using mine and it is so practical for those of us who have to have our bedroom totally dark. Black electrical tape over the blue led light on the plug and Voila, absolutely no light. Want to know the time or temperature, just say "Hello Moishi" and ask the time or the temperature or what time you set the alarm for. Genius!"

"I recently received this clock and love it. It took a little time to get use to it, and you have to speak clearly to have it respond properly, so a little learning curve, but I would buy it again. Its very sleek and does not take a lot of bedside table space."

"I bought 2 of these for my son's for x-mas they both wear contacks and I thought it would be easy for them to ask,instead of looking for glasses just to read the clock.also my oldest son will be a first time dad and I thought it would be easyer to ask for a time change for that extra hour instead of trying to stumble around with the alarm .If this clock is everything it clames to be it will be a hit!"

"I have to to tell you love this clock, my wife hates another female voice speaking to me, but its all good and I love this clock. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because like the last reviewer wrote, if Moshi hears thre TV or someone speaking in the same room as the clock , than Moshi is going to speak up. Me and my wife find it funny. I am sure they are going to make changes on the next Moshi so this does not happen, at least I would hope they would. other than that negative I just wrote about , it is well worth $40+ I spent . I would defitnitely would reccommend this clock and like some woman out there, Moshi might ask you to repeat yourself more than once."

"CLOCK DOES NOT TAKE COMANDS VERY WELL. PICKS UP TV AND OTHER PEOPLES COMANDS BETTER THAN MINE. I HAVE TO ALWAYS REPEAT MY COMANDS.WHEN I GIVE IT TIME COMAND IT GIVES ME THE ALARM TIME. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLOCK!!"
