Allen Edwards, celebrity stylist, beauty icon and creator of Farrah Fawcett's legendary feathered look, is the mind behind Shear Force. As CEO of Shear Force, Allen believes hair - one of the constants of beauty - is a true art form, open to interpretation and suggestion.
Since first hitting the Los Angeles beauty scene in the 1970s, Edwards has become one of the industry's most talented, ambitious, and well-liked stylists. His work includes stints as stylist and spokesperson for some of the biggest names in beauty, and he has styled and coiffed many of the most glamorous women in Hollywood.
With the charisma of an entertainer and more than 1,000 appearances on television, Edwards is as comfortable in front of the camera as he is behind a stylist’s chair. As such, his talent and expertise remain in high demand by many of today's leading makeover and reality shows.
In addition to his achievements in beauty and television, Mr. Edwards was recently named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Hairdressers by Modern Spa magazine. He and wife Lisa reside in Los Angeles and own Allen Edwards Salon + Spa, with locations in Brentwood and Woodland Hills, CA.
