Pamela McCoy Dome Button Detail Distressed Nouveau Fabric Jacket
Tailored lines, crafted for all-day comfort with Pamela McCoy's supple nouveau fabric. Inspired by structured military jackets, Pamela's soft washed metallic fabric ensures an easy fit, while the graceful lines provide a slimming illusion. Glistening domed buttons finish the look with just the right touch of embellishment. Imported.
Designed to be worn either open or closed, the jacket features hourglass-shaping princess seams on the front and back. Created with traditional epaulettes at the shoulders and a mandarin collar. For ease of movement, the back features a vent. Finished with exterior flap pockets at the waist front.

Additional Information:
Seven hidden hook-and-eye front closures with snap placket. The jacket is fully lined to protect and extend the life of the garment. Made of 100% polyurethane with 100% rayon backing and 100% polyester lining. Hand wash separately in cold water, do not bleach, line dry, do not iron.

"I was so thrilled with this style to replace my old rain jacket . My jacket is very nice supple and does not wrinkle , so I can agree that it has "some nice attributes as does lamb leather". With all the rain we have had all yr , it is glorious to have a weather proof jacket that I can wear inside without feeling out of place with that old rain gear. One button had loose threads , but otherwise the XS fit me well.
I even bought another noveau jacket in another shorter style I wore this past summer."

"I like the style of the jacket but the quality is terrible. It should have been more like 49.99.
The feel of the fabric is spongy and the stitching at the bottom hem on mine is completely off and makes it sag. Since I bought the jacket in the summer, I did not wear it until now and can't return it...or I would!"

Mixed feelings on this one,

"I purchased the jacket in the buttercup yellow fabrication. It is slightly warmer to wear than traditional lamb or leather designs - hence the two underarm openings. And, as you might expect, you notice the fact that the fabric doesn't breathe when worn in warmer weather. Overall, I like the jacket, but I did notice that the Nouveau fabric absorbed the color of the garment worn underneath it. I wore it with a black shell and the inside trim on the jacket picked up the black dye. It did not come out with a damp cloth or combined with using Pamela's leather/suede cleaning kit essentials. Perhaps this set of circumstances is unique to the black jersey shell that I wore under the jacket. Just an FYI though."

"Received this months ago. Worn it once, felt like I was wearing a plastic bag. Made me feel clammy and sweaty like it was air-tight. Rather boxy on me. Sleeves were to long so I super glued them up shorter that worked just fine but in all not up to what I expected. Will not buy this material any more. This was my 2nd coat made out of this material and I hate it."

"While I liked the design and color of this jacket, there were too many questionable quality details to keep it. The hook and eyes were all loose, the lining at the sleeves and bottom hem were sewn incorrectly, so did not hang straight. I think that the fabrication is such that it is difficult to get a sharp crease, hence a wobbly fold on the hems. As one reviewer put it, the fabric is rather 'spongy.' I did order and keep the matching handbag. This jacket, and perhaps the fabrication is not up to Pamela's standards, or mine!!!"

Where are the underarm shields with snaps?,

"I disagree with the quality of this material. To me it doesn't feel like lamb, it feels like a foam rubber material. One of the hook and eye closures was partially sewn on and per web site there's suppose to be under arm shields with the snaps which I don't have on my jacket. The bright side, it's a cute design and will keep the jacket."

"I received this jacket today in the brown. Unfortunately, I am not as thrilled with it as the other reviewers. It does feel like lamb. However, when I tried it on, i started feeling hot & clammy. I think it's because the synthetic fabric does not breathe. Also, the color is inconsistent, and it is really bronze and gold---not brown. Kudos for the style, though."

"Just received this coat and was pleasantly suprised when I opened the package!!! It looks and feels like the finest lamb leather. Looks great on, too.
The only problem I have is that the arms are a tad too long, but I just roll them up."

"This jacket feels like the most expensive glove leather ever yet it is not even leather. What style. I was thrilled when I put it on. When you get a box from Pam McCoy you feel you are getting something special....and you are! Even the packaging makes it scream first class. I, like so many others have her suedes and leathers. I do so enjoy seeing Pam McCoy work in other mediums too. Great."
