Missed the mark for me.,

"I bought this dress in grape and black. I love the way it "holds" the body in place. I'm sure that is because it's made w/lycra or spandex. I especially love the classic, 60's mod look of it, also.
However, I returned them both because I would have preferred that the zippers be dyed to match the colors of each dress. I just felt that it would look classier that way, and I would not have been limited to the type of belt I could wear with it.
If they remake the dress with dyed to match zippers, I will - without hesitation - purchase ALL THREE colors, next time around."

Nice, classic mod dress - AWFUL exposed zipper!,

"I purchased the grape and the black colors of this dress, and just received them on Tuesday. Although I have not tried it on yet, I basically like the dress. I am 5'3" and in a wheelchair, but I know it will fit and work well when I re-enter the working world as a new college graduate.
Anyway...my only displeasure with the dress is the silver/metal zipper. As one who likes simple, classic stles of dressing, I think inserting zippers like this makes the dress look a little tacky from the back, and limits the choice of color for a belt that one may want to wear with it.
The manufacturers or designers should use zippers that match the color of the dress; It's 2009 - how hard can that be? Geez.
If I decide to keep the dresses, it will be ONLY if I decide I can live with the exposed zippers or if I can find the same dye-colored zippers as the dresses to replace them; then I can take them to a seamstress and have the silver ones replaced (although, I should not have to do that)"

A very versatile basic dress.,

"The unbelievablly low price here is beside the point. My feeling is that this dress is a charming winner. It slipped on easily, fit my curves, felt comfortable & I was happy to add this basic dress as a wardrobe staple. It did come somewhat wrinkled in the package, but they ironed out very easily. I am shortening the dress a few inches, because I am about 5'2" & it will look more youthful that way.... I had not purchased any Henry New York items before, but feel confident about doing so now. Pair this dress with a blazer or 3/4 length cardigan, pop on some of the chunkier fashion jewelry pieces that are being shown for Fall & go out confidently & comfortably."

"I ordered this dress in grapeseed size M and it is really nice. The fabric is great and very comfortable to wear. I am ordering the dress now in Black but will order a Large for more room. I think the dress is true to size.
A real quality looking dress at a great price."

"This dress runs small so size up if you have any curves. I have it in the purple and black. Both great colors. You can never go wrong with a sheath. This sheath has a fit that is very comfortable and a timeless cut."
