"I have this skirt in Wheat. Who would've thought a long length suede skirt would move the way this one does? It flows and dances around like it weighs nothing but yet it's still substantial. The cut is very flattering - it sits where it should - slightly lower on the waist. I wear it with scrunchy boots and I think it looks very current; however, this kind of skirt will never be out of style. That's what Pamela is so great at! Her designs are timeless but still modern. Enjoy!"

"I had purchased the aubergine cashmere sweater/blouse of Pam's, but hesitated to order the matching suede skirt. As a 5' 2" person, I was afraid the length & amount of fabric would be "too much", but the skirt looks fine paired with a pointy-toed boot or feminine pair of flats.... The suede is a little heavier weight than would be optimal for me, but I am very pleased with the fit & quality."

Chic! Elegant! Edgy! Just Own It!,

"Bought this in grey and love it. Sized up per some suggestions, needn't have, but like that it falls from the lower waist-- a pinch of "hip", dash of chic and lots of elegance. Just now cool enough to wear, and did so with the crossover cashmere(ish) burgundy sweater. Suffice, added a low-hip metal belt (buckle's a quartz flower, but somehow "refined"). Bearing in mind the ensemble has very much a textured vibe, added only one wide cuff, keeping the whole thing uncluttered. An entire day of endless compliments and "you're so thin"; "If I were as tall as you", etc. So thanks.
Now, two things: 1) Too warm here for boots, pumps added a "church-lady" vibe, peep toe-heels added just a wee too much Monroe look-- the sweater's just this side of ladylike (at least on me), wanted to keep it that way. So, short of wearing boots, I'm baffled? I did end up wearing grey scrunch boots, but I suspect there's a no-boot look that wouldn't look quite as goofy in the desert?
And, 2) Someone mentioned bias cut. Don't sew, but I gather the fabric's cut across rather than vertically? If so, have read in many style-related books that if you look good in bias cut, you probably have slim hips, are high-waisted, and not an excess of rump. True in my case, but holy cow are my shoulders gigantic! (Hence, dark on top.) Converesly, possibly the *worst look on me: High-waisted pleated slacks, or skirts with pleats that originate at the waistline (versus the ones that stay flat till about mid-thigh).
In summary: Didn't mention the bias and pleats stuff to yap about myself. Thought it may be of value to some who can't psyche out why similar items don't "work". Also, would like to know if that's generally true for body types such as mine, and others in general: Tall with "athletic shoulders", small, high waist, no rump, long legs with some serious excess at the thighs.
Any thoughts on "no boot" look, perhaps for holidays in homes? And again, is it true that a woman either wears bias cut well, or it's just not happening, ever?

"I ordered this skirt in each of the colors available in my size: black, aubergene and platinum. I usually take a petite size 2 but ordered the 4 since it was the smallest size. They arrived very quickly and I was so very pleased. The quality of the suede is outstanding and the skirt fit beautifully It is extremely flattering. "I just got this in the black and am going back for more colors. It fits me true to size (I'm a 1X) and flows nicely. At my size, I don't think anything looks great on me any more, but I have to keep in mind I'm no longer a size 8. That considered, I think this is very figure flattering, as the wider fitted waist keeps the tummy flat and flares just where it should."

"I BOUGHT THE BLUE AND LOVE IT. THE FIT IS A LITTLE LARGE AND I WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE SIZE SMALLER. IT IS LONG AND THE EDGES ARE UNFINISHED WHICH HELPT THE SKIRT FLOW EASY EVEN THOUGH SUEDE IS HEAVY. PAM'S DESIGNS ARE USUALLY FLATTERING AND THIS IS NO EXCEPTION. IT LOOKS BEST WITH BOOTS."
