"I waited for this jacket to go down in price for months and I finally got it as a midday special.
The detail was amazing but the fit was strange. There was no room in the arm area. I am not a big woman. I wear a size 4 top but the arms were very tight. Perhaps due to all of the stiching. The arms also, did not fall right b/c all of the work. The body of the coat fit perfectly. There was also a button that fell off during shipping. Sadly, I am returning this beautiful coat."

"After I saw this coat, Medium was long gone...So daily for many months I waited and watched. Just when I had almost forgotten, one Medium came up on sale on VALUE PAY Sunday!
I am so lucky to have grabbed it in a dash and today, finally it came.
IT is all I knew it would be, having several of Pamela's coats already, but even better. Love the studs and hidden pockets. Not the most comfy coat ever, but I know with wear it will become so.
I hope this coat comes back for others to buy...Just wonderful and true to size fit."

"This is a beautiful coat, nothing too garish or too busy. It's amazing in the details which I truly love. You have to have confidence to wear this because it is not like anything else. "I have so many Pamela McCoy coats, blazers, tops, etc., the last thing I needed was this coat. But I happened to notice it a few weeks ago on the website, and just fell in love. "I waited a few days before writing this review. I had ordered the coat in medium because large was gone. I thought the coat might be too "busy", with all the embroidering, but it's great; the construction is done to enhance your curves. I feel as if I have an "hourglass" shape - the cut is flattering & I would have framed the coat & hung it on the wall , if it hadn't fit. It's that lovely & interesting & well-made...if your size is still available, grab one!"

"Pamela, you have outdone yourself this time! This coat is absolutely fabulous in every detail. All of the embroidary work makes this a work of art! If you do not want attention or comments this is not for you because people will stop you dead in your tracks to compliment you! Pamela, just one request on the fit. I take an extra small and the waist is very boxy and puckers out in the back a little bit. Would you consider making the waist from the bust down just a tad slimmer? Love you stuff but most are too boxy for my slim figure. Thanks so much for this coat! LOVE LOVE LOVE"

"As others have said, the embroidery work and design is beautiful. However, the fit is poor through the arms, bust and shoulders. You need to go up a size (at least) to get the proper fit in the upper body, but then you may find (as I did) that it's too large elsewhere. Also, the first time I took it out of the bag to try it on, one of the buttons simply fell off...without me even having buttoned the jacket. I expect better in this price range."

"This jacket is beautiful in its design and color selection. It fits nicely and is warm but not too heavy. It is a bit structured but has to be in order to fit properly and look as rich as it does. In fluorescent light the olive color does come out but in other lighting the back round color looks more greenish brown. Really nice buy on sale."

"I ordered this jacket in large after reading some of the reviews. I usually take a medium in Ms. McCoy's jackets but this fits quite well through the shoulders and arm length. It is a bit loose through the torso but I'd rather it be loose than too tight.
There are so many more colors in this that do not show in the pictures. It really is a work of art. The background color looks like dark olive in natural light and like dark brown in other lighting. It can be worn with many colors. It is very comfortable and not too heavy."

"While this coat is beautiful to look at, I found it uncomfortable to wear. It is quite stiff (probably due to the extensive embroidery).with little or no give. The M (my usual Pam Mccoy size) felt constricting in the shoulder and upper arm area, yet I think the L would have been too big elsewhere. I thought the coat looked just smashing on me while standing or walking, but I could not comfortably sit down in it. Even the sale price (178.00) did not convince me to keep it, Sadly, I sent it back."

"I love this coat! It is so unusual. I feel like I am wearing a piece of art. I've only worn it once, just received it, but already received several compliments. If you like wearing unique, classy, tailored things, then you will love this jacket. I followed the sizing chart listed for this coat and it fits as though I had it tailor made. Right down to the sleeve length. If you want to be noticed, get this coat. By the way, I'm a bit larger than normal and this coat is very flattering."

"A beautiful jacket. It definately gets you noticed.
I bought a 1X and the fit was perfect. The only problem was that the metal buttons fell off after only one wearing. I sew, so it was easy to put them back on. But it was annoying when the button fell off and I had to try to find it on the ground in the dark."
