Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours operate in all weather conditions. An alternate indoor route is used for inclement weather.

Unfortunately, children under six will not be admitted.

A Rockefeller Center Historian will be your guide as you travel through the buildings, gardens and spaces that make up this wondrous "city within a city." Join us as we unveil the treasured, historical, and inspiring stories that only the world-renowned Rockefeller Center has to offer-from John D. Rockefeller's true vision of what the center should be, to what it is today. There is a story for each story that has been built, a story for each amazing Art Deco work of art, and a story for guests of all ages. You will be treated to an uninterrupted account of this marvel as each tour guest follows along with his or her own personal headset. This closed circuit connection to the tour guide makes this tour unique amidst the hustle and bustle of New York City and Rockefeller Center. It is hands down the best view of Rockefeller Center from the ground up! Let us share some of these wondrous stories with you.

How Long Does the Tour Last?

Approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

How Often Do the Tours Run?

Tours run every 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the season.
Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I Buy Tickets in Advance?

Yes. Call (212) 664-7174 to reserve tickets. The group rate is $10.00 per person for groups of 10 or more. A credit card can be used to reserve spaces. Only 25 people maximum per tour.

Is There an Age Requirement?

Yes. Children under six are not admitted.

When and Where Does the Tour Start?

If you have a pre-booked tour you must check in at the NBC Experience Tour Desk at least 20 minutes prior to your tour. Then, line up on the 1st floor at the back of the store. If you have purchased a walk up ticket, proceed directly to the starting point (first floor at the back of the store) no less than 10 minutes before the start time of your tour.

How Do I Get There?

We are located in the GE Building at Rockefeller Plaza and W. 49th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues), across from the TODAY studio. The store is easily accessible by public transportation.

We also ask that you limit bags and packages to a minimum in order to expedite the security process. Bathrooms are not available on the tour route. No exceptions.
