Choices: Hometown Lake, Hometown Evening or Hometown Pride

Thomas Kinkade's beautiful odes to hometown living can now be yours in the form of these splendid textured prints. Experience firsthand why this artist was and will forever be "The Painter of Light."

Hometown Lake:
"With Hometown Lake, fourth in my Hometown Memories collection, I move beyond memory to the realm of my deepest imaginings. I'm intrigued by the vision of a lakeside village, where I wile away the days swimming, fishing, dreaming. I believe that people in every area of our nation and all parts of our culture share this vision, this longing for a peaceful lakeside place."
-Artist Thomas Kinkade

Hometown Evening:
"I remember wandering the lanes of my hometown on a Sunday evening, drawn as if by magnetic attraction toward the heart of the village. Hometown Evening, third in my Hometown Memories collection is enriched by intense childhood memories, although I've chosen to turn the clock back a few decades... I did that to heighten the nostalgia, and to give myself the chance to paint some of my favorite vintage cars."
-Artist Thomas Kinkade

Hometown Pride:
"As America approaches the anniversary of our greatest challenge, I feel especially blessed to be a citizen of this fair land. We have overcome every adversity and obstacle that has attempted to erode the freedom and security we cherish. In "Hometown Pride," I'm trying to evoke the very essence of the American dream -the peace and precious freedoms that continue to be our birthright. In his celebrated Four Freedoms paintings, Norman Rockwell recognizes Freedom from Fear as one of the cardinal protections Americans enjoy. That is the spirit-the message if you will-of this proud painting."

About the Collection
Known as The Painter of Light™, Thomas Kinkade became recognized as America's most collected living artist. Reflecting his modest background, Kinkade painted bucolic scenes with themes of simple pleasures and inspiring messages. With each brushstroke, Thom eloquently captured the beauty in the world with an instantly recognizable use of color and light.

As a devout Christian, Kinkade used his gift as a vehicle to communicate and spread inherent life-affirming values. Kinkade credited the Lord for both the ability and the inspiration to create his paintings. His goal as an artist was to touch people of all faiths, to bring peace, and joy into their lives through the images he created. The letters he received every day testify to the fact that he had achieved this goal.

As an Authorized Thomas Kinkade gallery, ShopNBC is proud to pay tribute with limited editions, framed art, canvas prints and other licensed products. Capture the beauty and tranquility of one the most widely collected artists in the world and display one of his masterpieces in your own home.
