Thomas Kinkade "Courageous Voyage" 16" x 31" Gallery Wrap

"As I set my brush to canvas, I could not envisage a better tribute to courage and hope, than a lone clipper ship defiantly pushing through the ocean's fury against the backdrop of a clearing sky radiant with hope and light. I have always had a great respect for the clipper ship artists of the past for whom the sea represented the only connection to a new world and promises of a new day.

Courageous Voyage is as much a tribute to a man like Montague Dawson whose early images of the sea inspired me, as it is a message to those mired in challenge and praying for opportunity and new beginnings. I trust that this image will encourage you to face the swells of life with a profound courage secure in the hope, instilled through providence and faith, that tomorrow is in His hands...that the storm is clearing...that the sun is ushering in a vibrant new day...and that your Courageous Voyage has set you upon the tides of remarkable ventures."
-Artist Thomas Kinkade

About the Collection
Known as The Painter of Light™, Thomas Kinkade became recognized as America's most collected living artist. Reflecting his modest background, Kinkade painted bucolic scenes with themes of simple pleasures and inspiring messages. With each brushstroke, Thom eloquently captured the beauty in the world with an instantly recognizable use of color and light.

As a devout Christian, Kinkade used his gift as a vehicle to communicate and spread inherent life-affirming values. Kinkade credited the Lord for both the ability and the inspiration to create his paintings. His goal as an artist was to touch people of all faiths, to bring peace, and joy into their lives through the images he created. The letters he received every day testify to the fact that he had achieved this goal.

As an Authorized Thomas Kinkade gallery, ShopNBC is proud to pay tribute with limited editions, framed art, canvas prints and other licensed products. Capture the beauty and tranquility of one the most widely collected artists in the world and display one of his masterpieces in your own home.
