NYC II Multi Gemstone Heart Pendant w/ 18" Chain

Sizzle your debonair style with this romantic pendant! Crafted in platinum, 18K rose or yellow vermeil over sterling silver, this gorgeous heart pendant features your choice of various shades, shapes and sizes of gemstones including blue topaz stones, amethysts, rhodolites, chrome diopsides, green quartz, ouro verde and peridots, all in prong settings.

In the blue choice you will find four pear cut 7 x 5mm, 11 round cut 2.9mm and one round cut 5mm London blue topaz, one round cut 2.2mm and three round cut 3.5mm sky blue topaz, three baguette cut 4 x 2mm, four marquise cut 8 x 4mm and one round cut 7mm Swiss blue topaz stones. The total approximate topaz weight is 9.17ct.

In the purple choice you will find four pear cut 7 x 5mm, 11 round cut 3mm and one round cut 5mm purple amethysts, one round cut 2.2mm and three round cut 3.5mm grape rhodolite, three baguette cut 4 x 2mm, four marquise cut 8 x 4mm and one round cut 7mm purple and light purple amethysts. The total amethyst weight is 6.92ct and the total rhodolite weight is 0.52ct (both approximate).

In the green choice you will find four pear cut 7 x 5mm green quartz, 11 round cut 2.9mm and one round cut 5mm ouro verde, one round cut 2mm and three round cut 3.5mm chrome diopsides, three baguette cut 4 x 2mm, four marquise cut 8 x 4mm and one round cut 7mm peridots. The total quartz weight is 2.32ct, the total ouro verde weight is 1.46ct, the total chrome diopside weight is 0.43ct and the total peridot weight is 3.90ct (all approximate).

The pendant measures 1-7/16"L x 1-3/8"W and includes an 18" cable chain that secures with a spring ring clasp.

Vermeil Plating:
Pronounced “vermay,” vermeil is an electroplating process in which 14K gold or higher is coated over sterling silver. Officially designated by the jewelry industry, items may only be sold as vermeil if they have a minimum thickness of 100 millionths of an inch (2.5 microns) of gold over the silver. Over time, vermeil will wear off and therefore will require re-plating.

Gold Embraced:
Our Gold Embraced collections feature layers of precious 18K gold over sterling silver or bronze for a rich, lustrous, radiant finish everywhere you look and touch.

To care for your plated jewelry items:

  • Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, washing hands, putting on make-up, lotions, perfumes, and/or working with household chemicals, cleaners, or acidic liquids.
  • Do not clean plated jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner or in silver cleaning solutions, as it could completely remove the plating finish from your item.
  • Ensure your jewelry item is thoroughly dry before storing. Moisture in an enclosed space can increase tarnishing.
  • Store your plated jewelry in a jewelry box lined with felt or anti-tarnish material. Items should not be stacked as this may cause damage to the plating surface.
  • Do not use excessive pressure when cleaning with a polishing cloth or soft brush, as this may cause damage to the plating.
  • Over time your plated items will need to be re-plated. Contact your local jeweler for information on plating services.


    Platinum Plating
    Platinum can be used as a finish coating over sterling silver or copper alloys. Its bright, pure luster enhances the brilliance of gemstones and does not discolor or oxidize. Platinum plating is also characterized by its good resistance to surface abrasion, making jewelry pieces more durable against everyday and long-term wear. Over time, platinum plating will wear off and therefore will require re-plating.

    Platinum Embraced
    Our Platinum Embraced collections feature layers of precious platinum over sterling silver or bronze for a rich, lustrous, radiant finish everywhere you look and touch.

    About the Guest
    Gem expert, on-air guest and fan favorite Chuck Clemency began his career in jewelry in an interesting way. In 1976, he walked into a retail store that had two openings—one in sporting goods and one in jewelry. Taking note of Chuck's lime green suit, the manager thought Chuck would be perfect for the jewelry department. The rest is history!
