NYC II 5.70ctw Multi Gemstone Three-Row Ring

This rainbow-hued ring is a must-have for your jewelry collection to mix and match with any ensemble! Crafted in 18K yellow vermeil over sterling silver, this ring beams with various round cut 5mm gemstones in three rows. You will find one each of chrome diopside, citrine, iolite, London blue topaz, red rhodolite, cognac quartz, red garnet, yellow hessonite and blue topaz. You will also find two each of peridot and amethyst on this ring.

The total peridot weight is 0.90ct, total chrome diopside weight is 0.45ct, total citrine weight is 0.36ct, total iolite weight is 0.36ct, total topaz weight is 0.96ct, total rhodolite weight is 0.53ct, total quartz weight is 0.36ct, total amethyst weight is 0.72ct, total garnet weight is 0.53ct and the total hessonite weight is 0.53ct (all approximate). The ring measures 9/16"L x 7/8"W with a height of 3/16".

Gold over Silver    


Vermeil Plating:
Pronounced “vermay,” vermeil is an electroplating process in which 14K gold or higher is coated over sterling silver. Officially designated by the jewelry industry, items may only be sold as vermeil if they have a minimum thickness of 100 millionths of an inch (2.5 microns) of gold over the silver. Over time, vermeil will wear off and therefore will require re-plating.

To care for your plated jewelry items:

  • Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, washing hands, putting on make-up, lotions, perfumes, and/or working with household chemicals, cleaners, or acidic liquids.
  • Do not clean plated jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner or in silver cleaning solutions, as it could completely remove the plating finish from your item.
  • Ensure your jewelry item is thoroughly dry before storing. Moisture in an enclosed space can increase tarnishing.
  • Store your plated jewelry in a jewelry box lined with felt or anti-tarnish material. Items should not be stacked as this may cause damage to the plating surface.
  • Do not use excessive pressure when cleaning with a polishing cloth or soft brush, as this may cause damage to the plating.
  • Over time your plated items will need to be re-plated. Contact your local jeweler for information on plating services.
