NYC II 2.39ctw Exotic Multi-Gemstone "Tucson Flower" Ring

Let your style bloom with this gorgeous bouquet! Crafted in your choice of 18K yellow vermeil or platinum over sterling silver, this square-topped ring gleams with four multi-color gemstone flowers encircled with eight round cut 0.9mm and four round cut 1.1mm white zircons. You will also find four each of pear cut 4 x 3mm pink tourmalines, green chrysoberyls, blue-green apatites and spessartite garnets, all in prong settings.

The total tourmaline weight is 0.52ct, the total apatite weight is 0.48ct, the total chrysoberyl weight is 0.64ct, the total garnet weight is 0.68ct and the total zircon weight is 0.07ct (all approximate). The ring measures 11/16"L x 13/16"W x 1/4"H.

Gold over Silver    


Vermeil Plating:
Pronounced “vermay,” vermeil is an electroplating process in which 14K gold or higher is coated over sterling silver. Officially designated by the jewelry industry, items may only be sold as vermeil if they have a minimum thickness of 100 millionths of an inch (2.5 microns) of gold over the silver. Over time, vermeil will wear off and therefore will require re-plating.

To care for your plated jewelry items:

  • Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, washing hands, putting on make-up, lotions, perfumes, and/or working with household chemicals, cleaners, or acidic liquids.
  • Do not clean plated jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner or in silver cleaning solutions, as it could completely remove the plating finish from your item.
  • Ensure your jewelry item is thoroughly dry before storing. Moisture in an enclosed space can increase tarnishing.
  • Store your plated jewelry in a jewelry box lined with felt or anti-tarnish material. Items should not be stacked as this may cause damage to the plating surface.
  • Do not use excessive pressure when cleaning with a polishing cloth or soft brush, as this may cause damage to the plating.
  • Over time your plated items will need to be re-plated. Contact your local jeweler for information on plating services.

    About the Guest
    Gem expert, on-air guest and fan favorite Chuck Clemency began his career in jewelry in an interesting way. In 1976, he walked into a retail store that had two openings—one in sporting goods and one in jewelry. Taking note of Chuck's lime green suit, the manager thought Chuck would be perfect for the jewelry department. The rest is history!
