From Macy's Tools of the Trade® the stainless steel body of this stockpot features a non-reactive surface that will not affect your food's taste. Riveted handles provide strength and stability while an encapsulated impact-bonded base allows quick and even heating.

**Important: Use low to medium heat settings. High heat may damage or discolor cookware and continual overheating or uncovered cooking may cause food to burn. While handles are designed to minimize heat transfer, potholders are recommended whenever moving or lifting hot cookware. To minimize sudden changes in temperature that could cause cookware to warp, always heat gradually and never pour cold liquid into a hot pan.

Do not boil dry. Use low to medium heat settings. Glass lid not intended for oven use. Use of potholders is required if product is placed in oven or whenever moving or lifting hot cookware. Do not leave cookware empty on a high flame or high heat setting on stoves that can reach temperatures in excess of 900 degrees.
