Celebrate the heritage of German culture with this magnificent Thewalt 1893 Gambrinus King of Beer's Stein.
The center panel features Gambrinus the King who, as legend tells, invented beer and is patron of the Beer-Brewers the world over. The top and base rims are circled by hops and malt. Also on the base are lions guarding well-filled steins. The handle is comprised of three beer barrels. On the sides, texts in old German lettering translate as follows: "Gambrinus I am called. King of Flandres and Brabant. I made malt out of barley and was first to create the beer. That is why the brewers can proudly claim it was a King who invented the Beer". A Treasure for any Collection!
