About Cloisonné
Cloisonné is a Chinese handcraft that dates back several thousand years to the 13th-14th century. These bangles are produced in a seven step process which is done completely by hand! The process involves crushed glass enamels of various colors placed in cells with repeated applications, they then are fired and polished. The result is an enameled jewel decorated with a pattern of gem like colors separated by polished metal wires. These bangles will be prized by all for their museum quality feel, and will be certainly treasured by jewelry collectors alike.
