14K Gold 18" Howlite Necklace

Define your style with this stately design of dramatic allure. This necklace is crafted in polished 14K yellow gold. It features various howlite stones, including: one round cut 29 x 33mm and two each round cut 19 x 26mm and 15 x 19mm beads. All are strung on a strand along with various chip shape howlite stones. The total howlite weight is approximately 352.44 ct. It measures 18"L x 1-1/4" and has a lobster claw clasp.

About Howlite:
Howlite was named after the man who discovered it, a geologist from Nova Scotia, Henry How. A soft yet, durable stone, Howlite ranks 3.5 on the Mohs hardness scale and ranges from white to gray, and often displays vein-like striations. In many ways it resembles turquoise, but without the blue color. It is found and mined in many parts of Canada and to a greater degree California, USA.
